  1. You must be an Australian Citizen or resident. We are not CRICOS registered and cannot accept enrolments from International Student Visa holders (Subclass 500).

  2. This course is delivered either on campus or through live structured virtual classes, depending on the program option.

    • On-campus option: Monday–Thursday, 9:00am–4:00pm for 12 weeks.

    • Virtual option: Live daytime classes, typically 9:00am–3:00pm, 2–3 days per week, over 17–19 weeks.

  3. 40 hours of work placement is required for all study options.

Entry requirements

There are no formal academic prerequisites for this course. However, students must:

  • Provide a Unique Student Identifier (USI)

  • Meet language, literacy, numeracy and digital skills requirements

Work placement

This course includes a work placement component to provide hands-on experience in a real pharmacy setting.

  • Duration: Minimum of 40 hours

  • Location: A registered community pharmacy

  • Commitment: Completed as part of the course at the end of the course

Work placement allows students to apply their skills in a real-world environment, gain confidence in assisting customers, and develop practical knowledge under the guidance of experienced pharmacy professionals.
