TIV’s CPC40120 Certificate IV in Building and Construction is an entry level course that will take you through the full construction process from start to finish including building and construction regulations, the planning process, preparing a site and managing a construction site.

Locations

Duration study load

  • 2 online classes each week (6.00pm to 9.00pm)

  • Select options of either Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday.

  • 4 Compulsory face to face Saturday practical site classes from 8:00am, please refer to timetable for class finish times.

  • 43 weeks to complete the course (inclusive of student support).

Entry requirements

Age

  • 18 years or older.

English Language

Proof of meeting one of the following:

  • Passed VCE English or VCE ESL at year 12 level or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated sufficient LLN skills through pre-training review process.

Pre-Training Review

  • Evaluation includes assessment of:
  • Language, Literacy, and Numeracy skills.
  • Understanding of course structure.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Motivation for course enrolment.

  • 5+ years building and construction industry experience
